ASTEC High School

ASTEC High School Biology Student Shows off DNA model

The high school was added to the ASTEC district in 2006. It has strong traditions and is proud to be a home away from home where students feel encouraged, have a sense of belonging and are recognized for a job well done.

ASTEC boasts a high attendance and graduation rate when compared to other high schools across the state. Most ASTEC students go on to college with financial assistance. Students have exposure to a wide variety of trade professions through our partnership with Metro Technology Centers and have the opportunity to explore many higher education options. ASTEC is smaller than most public schools in the area. Students get to know one another in a close-knit, family environment.

The Mission of the Advanced Science and Technology Education Public Charter Schools (ASTEC) is to empower, motivate and inspire learners to reach their highest potential.

The ASTEC administration, faculty, and staff welcome you!
